Now that the state as approved city’s plan to expand the Urban Growth Boundary and allow 17,000 new homes on roughly 23800 acres what does that mean for Bend?

Many are saying development will be going up. More housing units per acre.  We are already seeing this trend in the NorthWest Crossing area.  Along with another  smaller development near 10 Barrel on Galveston.  It’s great to see additional units above store fronts. This is a healthy move with our vacancy rate so low. It’s an exciting time in Bend. Although we do not anticipate much change in most residential neighborhoods.  Looking to the future.
